ד"ר ארנון קרונגרד

ד"ר קרונגרד הינו רופא מורשה ומומחה לאורולוגיה שהוסמך בפלורידה, ארה"ב. כמו כן, הוא חבר באיגוד האורולוגים האמריקאים.

 ד"ר קרונגרד סיים בהצטינות את בית הספר לרפואה של אוניברסיטת Columbia בעיר ניו-יורק. את ההתמחות בתחום אורולוגיה ביצע בבית החולים המפורסם Mount Sinai בעיר ניו-יורק.

 ד"ר קרונגרד הינו חתן מלגת "דורנייר" של קרן איגוד האורולוגים האמריקאים. מלגה זו תמכה במחקר שערך בתחום הביולוגיה המולקולרית באוניברסיטת Texas, Southwestern בדאלאס. תוצאות מחקרו פורסמו בביטאונים מקצועיים יוקרתיים בעולם הרפואה. בנוסף לערך המדעי של מחקרו, זכה הערך המסחרי-רפואי להגנה של רשות הפטנטים האמריקאית.

 תרומתו המקצועית של ד"ר קרונגרד הוכרה על ידי כלי תקשורת רבים, שפנו אליו בבקשה להתראיין בטלוויזיה ובעיתונות, ביניהם שבועון "טיים", "הוושינגטון פוסט" ו"המיאמי הראלד", בו יש לד"ר קרונגרד טור קבוע הנושא את הכותרת "מאחורי המסכה". ד"ר קרונגרד הינו דמות מובילה בארגון הסרטן האמריקאי ובארגון הבריאות העולמי. הוא ייסד עמותה שבסיסה במיאמי המוקדשת לנושא סרטן בלוטת הערמונית, ומכהן כיו"ר שלה.

 Dr. Gruenwald graduated from the Tel Aviv university school of medicine, received his certification as a urologist in 1994. In 1995 he completed a clinical fellowship at the urogynecology dept at St. Georges Hospital, London.
Ilan Gruenwald is a Senior Urologist at the urology dept, at the Neurourology unit and at the Sexual Dysfunction Clinic of the Rambam Medical Center in Haifa, Israel. He is also the Chief Urologist of the National Center for Continence.
His research focuses on diagnostic and treatment modalities for incontinence and the physiology and pathology of male and female sexual dysfunction.
Dr. Gruenwald is a member of the European Association of Urology (EAU), the European Society for Sexual Medicine (ESSM) and of the International Continence Society (ICS).
Dr Gruenwald has received four awards of excellence from the ESSM and EAU. Among other professional societies, he is a fellow of the Israel Sexual Health Society
He has been nominated as a Member of the WHO's (World Health Organization) consultation committee on education of incontinence.
He has presented his research in more than 100 international meetings and published over 30 papers in peer reviewed medical Journals.
